Discussion Group #2:Ethics
The threaded discussion takes the place of class participation in a classroom class. The purpose of the threaded discussion questions is to develop a discussion between members of the class. The requirement is for each student to submit one entry for each discussion. Students can do this by answering the question or adding to another students comment. To make this a discussion the entry is due by Sunday midnight.
In this Unit we talk about interpersonal communication and the issue of ethics. Most ethical dilemmas are difficult because they pit our personal knowledge of what is right vs. wrong against our desire to control the outcome of a conversation or a situation. This assignment relates to Module Competency 5.
You want to ask some one for a date and are considering how you might go about this. You regularly communicate with this person on Facebook as well as face-to-face at an organization you both belong to. How would you ask for a date?
